We started as a group of Central Region employees in 1994.
Following local government re-organisation, the volunteers came from the staff of Central Scotland Police, Central Fire, the Assessor for Central Scotland as well as Clackmannanshire Council, Falkirk Council and Stirling Council.
The CFSLA is not a formal part of any of the above local authorities and its committee is entirely voluntary.
Our funds are generated by the participants employee and former employees paying the equivalent of 30p per week from their salaries for the chance to win up to £1250 monthly.
In the 20 years to 2014, we have donated over £300,000 and supported hundreds of voluntary groups with equipment, and fund raising opportunities.
